Export a Financial Reporting Package to Excel Video Tutorial
New export enhancements now make it even easier to extract multiple reports at a time from Qvinci. Previously, a user was able to download a single report at a time to Excel, but a multi-report (Package) download was only offered as a PDF. Now, users have the ability to export an entire Package to Excel, as well as co-mingle Excel and PDF exports in the same download.
How it works –
Exporting a Package to Excel is a new functionality in the Package Library. When users create a Package, they will see a section for PDF Exports, plus an Excel Exports section.
- Documents may only be added to the PDF Exports section
- Reports may be added in either the PDF or Excel Exports section
- Upon download, the Package will export as follows:
- If there’s only PDF in the Package, then it will download as a PDF file
- If there’s only a single Excel report in the Package and no PDF, it will download as an Excel file
- If there’s more than one Excel report in the Package, it will download as a .zip file
- If there are both Excel and PDF in the Package, then it will download as a .zip file
NEW! New Qvinci Gallery Templates
Users with access to the Qvinci Gallery tab in the Reports Library now have access to:
- A/R Aging Summary
- A/P Aging Summary
These new templates may be included in a reporting Package, saved and shared with other users, as well as custom styled and formatted.
CHANGE! Export Reports to Excel
When exporting a single report to Excel from the Report Editor or Report Preview screens, you will notice the button is now in the upper right corner. This more prominent position sits next to similar tasks. From the Report Preview screen, the Excel contains your financial information. From the Report Editor screen, the Excel contains only the template information.
