General Ledger access is a module available in Qvinci for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop files. GL access must be enabled at the account level for all subscriptions in the account. To have GL access enabled please speak with your Solution Consultant for capabilities and pricing.

Access the Full General Ledger from the Portal
The steps and screenshots below will allow you to view the general ledger for a specific entity.
Click on the Portal.
Find the column named GL.
Click “View” in the GL column of the Entity you would like to see the GL for.
4. Select the desired Filter Options (Click “Save” to use default filters).
5. The default filter is “by Account Name”.
Access the General Ledger from a Report Template
From a Qvinci Balance Sheet or P&L report, you are able to drill down into the journal entries that comprise that specific entity’s account interactions for the specific time period you select.
Click on the Portal.
Find the column named "Client" or "Company".
Click the Client/Company name in the respective column for which you would like to view a Qvinci report. This will take you to the Report Libary page in order to select a report to view GL activity from.
4. If this client/company has multiple entities in Qvinci:
a. Use the Filter Entities tab at the top-center of the screen to select a single entity.
b. Note that the GL can only be viewed on one entity at a time.
5. Identify the appropriate a Balance Sheet or P&L based Qvinci report you wish to view:
a. Click the green Preview button to the right of the report you would like to view.
6. To drill down into the report’s GL elements:
a. Move the cursor over the cell you would like to drill down into.
b. The cursor will turn into a hand selector.
c. Double click on the financial value to drill down (verses anywhere in the cell).
7. You are now viewing the GL activity that comprise the selected account in the Qvinci report.
