Page Layout Enhancements Video Tutorial
Numerous enhancements that allow users to layout pages as they desire.
- Repeating Titles and Headers:
The ability to have column headers appear on all pages when a report flows into multiple pages. Users may now set the report titles and column headers to repeat on multi-page reports by using the “freeze rows” feature.
- PDF Scaling Enhancement:
In the Package Library, when users turn off “Fit to Page”, they now have the ability to size each template to the same proportions so that all pages in the package have a uniform look.
Use Lookups as a Date Range
Lookups allow a reporting user to create macros that drive contextual data into report or document templates. Typically, Lookups are used to source client-specific information such as, “client name”, “client city, state”, etc. so the reporting package delivers the correct context based upon which client company is being reported upon.
- A new enhancement to Lookups is the capability to source reporting date ranges into the reporting templates. Users now control the ability to change a custom date range in a number of reporting templates from a single place, as opposed to updating multiple reporting templates at a time, resulting in enhanced efficiency.
Budget By Location Reporting
Previously Qvinci offered the ability to sync budget data from QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online files, as well as class-delineated budgets.
- A new capability allows users to sync budgets that are set up at the Location level in QuickBooks Online. This means that a user may create Budget vs Actual reports in Qvinci, as well as consolidated BvA reports, regardless of if QuickBooks budget data is tracked at the file, class or location level in QuickBooks.
