Qvinci is excited to announce the following features that were released in June!
Introducing Qvinci Solo! The New Qvinci Subscription for QuickBooks® Online Accountant Users
A new Qvinci subscription launched in June for QuickBooks Online Accountant users. The Qvinci Solo product is exclusive for QuickBooks Online Accountant, offers non-consolidation reporting for single-entity clients, and allows accountants to easily provision enhanced reporting through Qvinci from inside of QuickBooks Online Accountant. Visit the “Recommended Apps” tab inside of QuickBooks Online Accountantto learn more!
Future Budget Reporting
Prior to June, Qvinci sync’d budgetary data from QuickBooks® Desktop or QuickBooks® Online only on a year-to-date basis. Future budget data was not sync’d. While Qvinci still only syncs year-to-date actuals, future budgetary data can now be reported upon. The full year budget is queried during the sync process, and reports can be laid out to display the future budget data either on a monthly basis or just the annual total. Users who are already syncing budgets to Qvinci do not need to take any additional steps to sync the future budget data. Rather, users simply need to utilize the appropriate reporting templates to begin viewing the data. Learn more about using these new templates in the next section.
Qvinci Gallery Expansion
In June, Qvinci enabled the Qvinci JumpStart Gallery to be available for all users, regardless of permission level. Previously, only the Qvinci Admin and Leaders had access to the JumpStart Gallery. However, all users now have access to the JumpStart reporting templates that Qvinci offers through the JumpStart Gallery. These templates offer a number of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Peer Benchmarking and Budget options. Additionally, they allow users to save working copies of the templates into their My Reports tab so that further modifications such as styling, formatting, date range, or other updates can be made. Once a working copy is made, users can choose to share the custom templates to others, or even compile a package for a complete reporting experience. Learn more about the Qvinci JumpStart Gallery here.
Additionally, the JumpStart Gallery had several reporting templates added to it. These include:
Balance Sheet by Entity
- This is a great option for a user who has multiple entities that need a consolidated, side-by-side view. Whether the entities are linked to files or classes/locations, if a side-by-side view of the Balance Sheet is needed, this template now exists as an option in the JumpStart Gallery.
Annual Budget Reporting & Templates
- As mentioned above, future budgetary data now syncs to Qvinci. Users who already sync budgetary data to Qvinci will not need to take any additional steps to sync the future budget data. Rather, users simply need to utilize the appropriate reporting templates to begin viewing the data. The Qvinci JumpStart Gallery now includes two future budget templates, but users are able to create variations of these templates at any time. Options include the ability to see the future budget data either on as an annual total, or monthly delineated. Learn more about reporting on future budget data here.
Comingle P&L and Balance Sheet Data in Report Templates
Qvinci further expanded reporting capabilities in June by releasing the ability to comingle P&L, Balance Sheet, and Benchmarking data in a single template. This capability allows users to set up a multi-tab spreadsheet, place different report types on the various tabs, and then utilize cross-sheet referencing, VLookups, or HLookups to blend the reporting data together. Learn more about the new report blending feature here.
