We have seen several customers run into Symantec Protection being overzealous with our Sync Application software. It deletes the QvinciSyncSetup.exe installer as a precaution when you try to launch it to install the Qvinci Sync Application.
1) Reinstall the QvinciSyncSetup.exe if it's been removed from the computer.
2) When you download the sync app, click the ... and choose "Show in Folder". (DO NOT RUN IT again though, or the same thing will re-occur, and you will have to re-install it.) Take note of its file path.
3) Launch Symantec from the system tray (much like our application). Then, use the left-hand menu to navigate to Change Settings > Exceptions > Configure Settings > Add > Application Exception
You will need to navigate to the same file path seen in step 2, and select QvinciSyncSetup.exe
4) Once the application is set as an exception, you should be able to launch it to install the sync application.
